Crushed Glass: Fall Trees

While walking in the woods at Central Lake in Northern Michigan I spotted this grouping of tall trees that had every beautiful fall color among them and the sky was a as blue as clouds should be. This is a crushed glass panel where layers and layers of crushed glass allow the colors to show through in the panel the same way they did in the forest. The photo shows only the fused glass panel. The finished piece is created in a beveled glass border giving it a final dimension of 16 1/2" by 24".
